Order Approving Rescission of Orlando Corporate Centre Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Development Order (Economic Development)
Summary:

The applicant is requesting to rescind the Orlando Corporate Centre DRI Development Order as allowed by Section 380.115(1)(b), F.S.

On July 15, 2014, the Municipal Planning Board approved the DRI rescission of the Orlando Corporate Centre DRI Development Order (Case #DRI2014-00002) and an amendment to the Orlando Corporate Centre PD (Case #ZON2014-00017).   The applicant provided documentation that showed that all required mitigation has been met in order to rescind the DRI Development Order.

The associated Planned Development (PD) amendment will become the new local development order that replaces the DRI Development Order.  The first reading of the PD was approved by City Council on September 15, 2014 and the second reading is being held concurrently with this request for rescission.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached rescission order and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
