Orlando Health Sampling Station Agreement between Orlando Health, Inc. and City of Orlando
Summary:
The City owns and operates waste-water infrastructure, "City's System," within the right-of-way for Orange Avenue in the vicinity of Orlando Health's, "OH's", hospital campus.  As part of the campus redevelopment, OH will be connecting to the City's System.  As a condition of the connection, OH must monitor the waste-water discharged through that connection.  In order to do this, OH must install a sampling station within a manhole that the City maintains. The attached Agreement authorizes OH to install and operate the sampling station, in consideration for which, OH agrees to indemnify the City for any damage or liability arising therefrom and to insure the City against any such losses.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Agreement and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
