Agreement for Public Allies Member
Summary:

In 2010, the City of Orlando was awarded a Cities of Service Leadership grant which resulted in the development and implementation of ORLANDO CARES, Mayor Dyer's High Impact Service Plan. As part of this program, Green Works Orlando will host one Public Allies member for one-year to assist in the development of new/expanded tree planting initiatives within the City. 

 

This agreement will provide one full-time person through the Public Allies Apprenticeship Program, who is trained and skilled to assist with the successful implementation of redoubled efforts to expand the city's urban forestry programs. Through a cost-share arrangement, the city will contribute $12,500 for one Public Allies member.
