Summary:

The +0.15 acre subject site is in the College Park neighborhood, north of E. Orlando St., south of W. Winter Park St., east of Depauw Ave. and west of Musselwhite Ave. The applicant requests to rezone the property to PD/T/W to allow for the development of a duplex with a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 0.7.  The request also includes a reduction to the minimum required driveway separation as well as to allow required parking within the required front yard.

Unless specified in the PD the parcel will be subject to the standards of the R-2A/T zoning district.

Previous actions regarding this application are as follows:

  • May 20, 2014- MPB recommended approval of the subject PD rezoning. (ZON2014-00009)
  • June 23, 2014- City Council approved the meeting minutes of the May 20, 2014 MPB hearing. (ZON2014-00009)
  • July 14, 2014- City Council approved the first reading of the subject ordinance.

Recommended Action:
Adopt the attached ordinance number 2014-26 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
