Summary:
The City of Orlando received approval for a FY 2013 grant from the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program in the total amount of $114,532.00. The initial award in the amount of $56,028.00 was approved by City Council on March 25, 2013. Modification #1 was a grant award in the amount of $58,504.00, and was approved by City Council on July 22, 2013, for a total grant award of $114,532.00. Due to a reallocation of funds, several amendments are required.
Modification #2 reduces the award by the amount of $193.50 leaving a total grant award of $114,338.50.
Modification #3 reduces the award by the amount of $6,612.74 leaving a total grant award of $107,725.76.
Modification #4 reduces the award by the amount of $29.99 leaving a total grant award of $107,695.77. The reduction was due to funds being reallocated by HIDTA. The remainder of these funds will be used for overtime and vehicle leases for OPD officers assigned to the Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, DEA Heroin Task Force and the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.
