Summary:
The attached ordinance amends the future land use designation and zoning district for property generally located north of Delridge Ave., south of Webster St., east of Neptune Dr., and west of Grant Blvd, approximately 0.23 acres (Webster). (GMP2013-00029 and ZON2013-00028) The GMP amendment is to assign Residential Low Intensity future land use designation and the initial zoning of R-1AA/W and R-1AA/W/RP.
The property has requested expedited annexation (which has been completed) because the property is currently split between two jurisdictions and the applicant is proposing to expand the home into the City portion. In order to avoid confusion in the permitting process, the entire property must be annexed into the City prior to issuing a building permit.
The petition for annexation was heard at the December 16, 2013 meeting. The annexation application was expedited and had its
1st reading of the ordinance (Ordinance #2014-1) heard on January 27, 2014 and the 2nd reading on February 24, 2014. (ANX2013-00013)
The GMP amendment and initial zoning followed the normal public hearing process, the applications have been heard at the January 7th Technical Review Committee, the January 21st Municipal Planning Board and had the first reading of Ordinance No. 2014-10 on March 17th.
