Summary:

The attached ordinance will abandon the remaining unconstructed portion of the Guava St. right-of-way (R-O-W). The R-O-W is located on the north side of E. King St., between McCrae and Sanitarium Aves. The applicant is Borron J. Owen, Jr., Esquire, for Adventist Health System/Sunbelt, Inc. (aka Florida Hospital).

The applicant concurrently applied for a replat of the adjacent property (SUB2013-00051) tied to the construction of a new multi-level parking garage (BLD2013-005955) for Florida Hospital, which is currently underway. The replat cannot be approved and recorded until the abandonment request has been approved.
