The attached ordinance will annex property generally located at the southeast corner of the intersection of W. Princeton Street and Mercy Drive, approximately 0.24 acres (Orlando Health). The property is currently undeveloped and is being annexed in order to consolidate it with the property to the south, which is under common ownership, for future development.

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2013-00010), the GMP amendment to assign Office Low Intensity future land use designation (GMP2013-00024) and the initial zoning of O-1/W (ZON2013-00024) on November 19, 2013.

The 1^st reading of the ordinance for the annexation, GMP amendment and initial zoning was heard on January 27, 2014. This ordinance was advertised on February 9^th and February 16^th for this February 24, 2014 meeting.

Adopt the attached ordinance number 2013-81 and authorize the Major and City Clerk or Major Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
