Summary:
The attached ordinance amends the future land use category and zoning categories for property generally located at 330 and 334 Broadway Avenue, at the northwest corner of the intersection of Broadway and Ridgewood Street, approximately 0.361 acres (Boynton). The property is currently developed with an office building and a duplex and is being amended in accordance with the executed settlement agreement and release dated February 20, 2013.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment to amend the future land use designation of 334 Broadway Avenue from Office Medium Intensity to Residential Medium Intensity (GMP2013-00025), amend the zoning designation of 334 Broadway Avenue from O-2/T/HP to R-2B/T/HP and amend the zoning designation of 300 Broadway Avenue from O-2/T/HP to O-2/T (ZON2013-00025) on December 17, 2013. This change removes the office building from the Lake Eola Heights Historic District, as indicated in the settlement agreement.
