Summary:
On January 21, 2014, the Families, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board reviewed the following funding request and based upon the application and presentation, makes the following recommendation to City Council:
 
The Mills 50 Main Street District will hold a "Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival" on Sunday, February 9, 2014 throughout the Mills 50 Main Street corridor. The event will consist of a parade followed by a festival featuring martial arts, cultural dance, arts and crafts, and Asian food. The Families, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommends funding of up to $850.00 to cover City costs associated with this event.

Recommended Action:
City Council approval of the funding recommendation made by the Families, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
